Scope of Work / Other Requirements:

The PathWest Laboratory Information System (LIS) Replacement Project requires business analyst services to support the necessary aspects for the transition to operations of the Microbiology solution. Currently, although live, Microbiology are experiencing transitional issues resulting in ICT putting them into an ?intensive care? period to focus on high priority issue resolution.

Additionally overseeing the delivery of the Forensic Pathology implementation of the new Soft LIS solution. This project is underway with a project manager assigned. This role will be expected to act as an overseeing role for escalations and guidance as part of the overall Soft LIS Program governance.

Overall Responsibilities

Work Collaboratively with Microbiology SME?s, SCC (software vendor) and ICT

Project Management of the high priority delivery issues and build gaps for the Microbiology solution. To include the delivery of:-

• Gathering all current issues and gaps with the Microbiology solution
• Agreeing with Microbiology prioritisation criteria and document
• Assessing the issues and gaps then prioritise in conjunction with the Microbiology
• Documenting the agreed prioritisation of delivery issues and build gaps
• Reviewing and agreeing the prioritised issues and gaps to agree with Microbiology the high priority issues and gaps to be fixed under ?intensive care? period
• Develop remediation plans to address high priority build gaps or delivery issues
• Delivery of remediation plans to address high priority build gaps or delivery issues including sign off approval for all Software Change Requests (SCR)
• Transitional sign off from Microbiology and closure of ?intensive care? period

Overseeing the FP project implementation acting as the escalation path under the SoftLIS Program governance structure. Principally ensure the project is being managed to budget and schedule, risks are managed effectively and reporting is in line with Program governance.
