In addition, future enhancement of the metropolitan public bus transport network is likely to require growth in the size of the metropolitan bus fleet as well as the number bus depots. These new assets will need to be equipped with digital radio hardware. Whilst future public bus network enhancement is contingent upon government decisions relating to the Public Transport Authority?s funding, it is estimated that this growth could result in system growth of approximately 150 buses and four additional depots. As a consequence, the Public Transport Authority seeks pricing for a range of items relevant to fitting out buses and depots. |
