| Description | Not-for-profit organisations and local authorities are invited to tender written proposals addressing the selection criteria and service specifications for the delivery of the South Kalgoorlie Youth Support Service. The South Kalgoorlie Youth Support Service will work with young people including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people and young people from culturally and lingistically diverse backgrounds. It will be provided primarily to disadvantaged young people commencing secondary education up to 18 years of age and will be based in the Millen Street multi function centre in South Kalgoorlie. The service will use positive approproaches to increase resilience, reduce risk level and improve relationships with family, school and community. It will work collaboratively with existing providers of services to young people to ensure co-ordinated service provision. $50,000 once only funding will be provided for service start-up costs and $100,000 per annum for three years for provision of the service. |
