| Description | The Office of Crime Prevention (OCP) is the lead government agency responsible for coordinating crime prevention and community safety initiatives within Western Australia. The OCP is responsible for the following community safety and crime prevention initiatives and programs: • Local Government Partnerships; • Burglar Beware; • Eyes on the Street; • Graffiti Reduction Taskforce; • Designing out crime; • CCTV Project; • Leavers; • Neighbourhood Watch; and • Grant funding for community safety and crime prevention projects. A consultant is required to work in collaboration with the OCP Evaluation Unit in developing a crime prevention evaluation framework that encompasses the above initiatives and programs and identifies overarching outcomes for the multiple programs and the whole of government State Community Crime Prevention Plan. The consultant will also be required to develop a performance measurement framework for a burglary reduction strategy associated with Burglar Beware and Eyes on the Street. |
