Tourism Western Australia (Tourism WA) is the State Government Agency responsible for promoting Western Australia as an extraordinary holiday destination to both a domestic and international audience.
Tourism WA seeks to appoint a suitably qualified supplier to manage its’ Twitter handle by way of publishing tweets, engaging with the Twitter community, providing regular reporting and developing a strategy for Tourism WA to expand on its current Twitter activity.
Tourism WA’s Twitter handle is @WestAustralia and this medium is used to promote the many things to see and do; upcoming events and destination information. In addition to tweeting Tourism WA also uses Twitter to reach out to celebrities, sporting heroes, ambassadors, travel journalists and bloggers. The number of follows as a July 2013 is approximately 17,000. This community has been grown organically and over time through consistent content creation, curation and community engagement.
